Day 1-2: Arrived in Dublin!
Friday, September 14, 2007
Landed in Dublin, I slept for most of the flight. After I arrived, I met up with Thu, Alice and Camilla. We all spent the night walking around Dublin, more specifically Temple Bar & Stephen's Green. Great city. The people are really friendly here. And the accent is great. Overheard this on the bus, a older Irish man talking his feeling about going somewhere. Gentleman 1: "So did you go?" Gentleman 2: "I'll throw a rock in the lake, if it floats, I'll leave. If it sinks I'll stay." Sounded better with a Irish accent. At Temple Bar, we had to try the Guinness. It does taste better here for some reason. Next stop Paris! Labels: dublin, europe, vacation
